WASTE CLOTHE REUSING

As part of Nallapadam activities, the High school students of Chavara Darsan CMI Public School collected waste T.Shirts, and clothes from their homes and nearly tailoring shops and manufactured / made beautiful T-Shirt bags, pouches, hand bags carry bags etc.
Students then invited the nearby Kudumbasree members to the school and taught them how to make beautiful products like purses, pouches and carry bags out of waste clothes.The programme as very successful, 10 members from various Kudumbasrees of ward No.11 and 12 participated. A true bond was developed between the students and the members there by paving the way for them to learn some entrepreneural skills. This programme of reusing waste clothes was then continued by the Nallapadam members and extended it among other students of the school.
