VISIO 2026 inter-school sports meet from July 31

The 16th edition of VISIO 2026, the annual inter-school sports meet organised by Chavara Darsan CMI Public School, Koonammavu, will be held from July 31 to August 3.The four-day event will feature competitions in basketball, football and swimming, with participation from more than 100 schools across the State. The meet aims to provide young athletes with a platform to showcase their sporting talent while fostering the spirit of healthy competition.School Principal Rev. Fr. Mejit Vattoly CMI said the institution was proud to organise the event for the 16th consecutive year and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting sports among school students.

The basketball and football competitions will be inaugurated on July 31 by Jackson Peter, Commandant, Kerala Armed Police First Battalion, Thripunithura, and Shihab Neerungal, President, Ernakulam District Basketball Association.

The swimming events on August 1 will be inaugurated by George Jose, President, Ernakulam District Aquatic Association.

The valedictory function will be held on August 3 under the chairmanship of Rev. Fr. Paul Nedumchalil CMI, Manager of the school. Jaison Peter, Secretary of the Ernakulam District Basketball Association, will be the chief guest.
