Reading Day Celebration at Chavara Darsan CMI Public School, Koonammavu

Chavara Darsan CMI Public School, Koonammavu, celebrated Reading Day with great enthusiasm on 19th June 2026 through a variety of literary activities. The programme began with a Reading Day message by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Mejit Vattoly CMI, followed by felicitations from Mrs. Anu George, LP Headmistress.

The school honoured two young student authors who have stepped into the literary world through their first book publications: Rachel Lijo Chakiath, author of The Truth in Me, and Jian K. Fetson, author of Life, Happiness and Laura and Tales.

Various competitions, including Word Hunt, Tongue Twister, Twisting the Climax, and Cover Page Design, were conducted for students from Classes I to XII. Prizes were awarded to the winners. The celebration inspired students to develop reading habits and showcased their literary talents and creativity.
