10TH YEAR OF PADDY HARVESTING
The students of Chavara Darsan CMI Public School have drawn attention by achieving a bumper harvest of paddy for the tenth consecutive year. They cultivated the Jyothi rice variety on half an acre of land. The harvest festival was graced by the chief guest, Mrs. P.V. Mini, Vice President of Public Relations at Mathrubhumi. The school principal and manager, Fr. Martin Mundadan CMI, presided over the event, which was attended by Mr. Athul B. Manappadan, the Agricultural Officer of Kottuvally; Rev. Fr. Joby Kozhikott CMI, the school administrator; Rev. Fr. Mejit Vatoli CMI, the vice-principal; Mr. Biju Pazhamplilly, the chairman of the Kottuvally Education Standing Committee; academic coordinator Anil Alexander; headmistress Alphonsa P.J.; PTA president Joseph John; teacher coordinators Anita K.A., Sithara Joseph, and Mary Sebastian, PTA members, teachers, and students also participated in the harvesting.
